MY FIRST ARTWORK THIS NEW YEAR!
Wooh! This one took me more than 5 hours to make, no kidding! The hardest part for me was coloring, I always have difficulty picking good colors but I always manage to do it anyway, another is selecting fonts, it literally took me 20 minutes just to pick the right font out of the 500+ fonts I have.
As you can see, there is a tree in the poster, it symbolizes the Wilds, Alex’s home. You will also notice that the branches traced two faces, the right one is Lena’s and the left one is Alex’s. At the top of the tree, there are three pointy branches, these symbolize the three-pronged device used to administer the cure. Behind the tree are buildings that is a sign of the city. I also created my own tagline; “This Love Is Sick” has two meanings, first is it is based on the Cureds’ point-of-view of love which is a disease and the second is the wild, dangerous and adventurous romance of the two protagonists. There is also the fence that always holds people back, except for sneaky little Lena and Alex. I hope you like my poster and I hope you have meanings of your own about it.
